Japanese philosophy consists of a variety of tenets. There are a variety of different ways of being for life. All of them help you become the greatest version of yourself and navigate skillfully. There are a variety of different different situations that this helps in order to walk your own path.
Different Types Of Japanese Philosophy
1. Kaizen
Kaizen is about constant and never ending improvement. Doing your best to improve every dingle day. This is because the very nature of life is growth. It’s about progress, bot perfection.
2. Hansei
Hansei is all about the art of self reflections. There are many practices that go into this. The power of self reflection is that it allows you to see what is going right and what isn’t in order to make the necessary adjustments.
3. Ikigai
Ikigai is all bout purpose. It’s about knowing your worth and making your mission an reality. It’s about combining what you love to do, are good at, and what the world needs. Once you find this, work on it every single day.
4. wabi sabi
This is all about embracing the are of imperfection. It’s okay for things not to be perfect. It’s all about progress, not perfection. Be the change you wish to see in the world. Embracing imperfection allows you to make progress and to grow.
5. Kintsugi
This is all about how something that is seemingly broken and be put back together to be more beautiful. This speaks to any type of challenge in our life that were going through. We can alchemize failure into success.
6. Hara Hachi Bu
This is the practice of eating until 80% full and mindful eating. It’s very important to eat mindfully and appreciate food. This is because it will help you get the most out of it and not over eat.
7. Shenrin yoku
This is also known as forest bathing. This is a very important practice. Being able to go in the forest and relax is very good for overall wellbeing. Learn to be mindful and take that with you everywhere that you go.
