Perfectionism- Cowardice, Imposter Syndrome, and Do It Your Way
What Is Perfectionism?
Perfectionism is essentially thinking you have to do everything perfect, even know that’s impossible. It’s more so about progress, not perfection. The more progress you make, the better you will get. It’s okay to fail, failure is feedback. Don’t change the goal, change the approach.
Cowardice
1. No blaming
It’s very important not to blame. Blaming gives all your power away. The reality is that all the power is within you, all you have to do is activate it. Do this and you will have real strength.
2. No complaining
Complaining is one of the hallmarks of a weak mind. Stay stoic and free. Focus your energy towards your action, which is all you can do.
3. Have faith
You must have faith that everything will work out. Have high involvement and low attachment. What this means is do everything that you can, and realize you can’t always control the outcome.
Imposter Syndrome
1. Failure
It’s okay to fail. It’s all about reframing it. Just because you fail doesn’t mean that your a failure. You need to know that your the one, and walk your path every single day.
2. Be real
Sometimes you feel like an imposter because you actually are. You need to check your habits and evaluate yourself. Are you really living up to your full potential, and living in alignment with your integrity?
3. Seek change
You must seek change within your own life. This means no blaming or complaining, but actually taking 100% responsibility. If you ant change, you have to change.
Do It Your Way
1. Be the change
You must be the change you wish to see in the world, and take it one step at a time. The life you want is waiting for you, all you have to do is keep going.
2. Have courage
You must have courage on your path. You will be faced with many trials and tribulations, the question is how will we respond to them. How we respond to them will determine the trajectory of our lives.
3. Embody the mission
You must be a living representation of what is possible. You must really practice what you preach and be the model. No it won’t always be easy, but you can do it.
