The Importance of Magnesium and Beneficial Sources

Magnesium activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for rest and digest. It also enhances GABA in the brain, which is a neurotransmitter that promotes relaxation. Magnesium deficiency will cause you to feel tight, alert, and like you can’t turn off.

4. Energy production

Magnesium is critical for energy production. ATP, which is responsible for all energy, is bound to magnesium, and can’t work properly without it.

5. Constipation
