How To Raise Healthy Kids- Nutrition, Physical Strength, and Giving Honor To The Name

What Does It Mean To raise Healthy Kids?

Raising healthy kids is essentially about raising them in a way according to nature. Unfortunately, just like the rest of the population, our kids are getting sicker and sicker. Obesity, especially is on the rise. Kids typically have a diet comprised of 70% ultra processed food.

How To Raise Healthy Kids-

Nutrition-

Nutrition is a very important aspect of mastering your chi. This is because everything in your body is literally going to create new tissues. Every single molecule of food that you eat impacts your genetic expression. Focus on first principles, such as eat real food, organic, locally, seasonally, according to genetics and ancestry.

Kindness-

Understand where they’re coming from. As a coach, I know that the number one skill is listening, and this is no different. We must understand their position in order to positively influence them. When we decide to go the authoritarian route, that is based in fear and a lack of power. True strength come freedom, and an ability to guide.

Respect-

Respect is about how everyone is there own person, and deserves respect. When we try to fit someone in a box, who ever it is, and say this is the way to be, we have failed. Outside of teaching good virtues and principles this has no place. We often see the world through the lense through our past experiences, but the problem is that is does not always align with truth.

Physical Strength

Undergoing physical tasks is very important, and will develop not only physical strength , but strength of character. This is because you have to use your mind in order to do hard things, and it carries over to other areas of life.

Unconventional training-

Unconventional training is the concept of using off-load gear for full body adaptation. For example, the equipment in the gym is very linear and everything is evenly weighted. This is much easier to work with, but you only work muscles in a certain capacity. This has its place, but with unconventional training your body constantly has to adapt to the load and mimics real life much more. This type of training is great for muscle imbalances because of adaptability. You will really be able to notice which muscles are working and which ones aren’t. To learn more about this, click here.

Right of passage-

A right of passage is essentially a task to undergo in order to gain adulthood. Our ancestors had a wide variety of these culture to culture. These have widely been lost. As a result, many of us are still kids. On the real though, I believe the number one right of passage is overcoming our story and our past. We can never live up to our lives purpose if we don’t overcome this, no matter what right of passage we do. This will help, but if were still holding on to old ways of being and beliefs, we will never reach our full potential.

It Doesn’t Start With You-

Understand that who we are to be, we are now becoming. The quality of person we are, and our character will get passed on. The question is, will you be proud of that. Are you going to be proud of your lineage, are you going to give honor to the name. Someone is always watching, even if that someone is you. There is an emerging field of science linking our ancestors to present trauma, or inherited trauma. We have the ability to clear that, or pass it on, the choice is yours.
