What Does It Mean To Be An Elite Thinker?
Being an elite thinker is about using your mind to create future success. It is about optimizing it in every way possible. Thinking for yourself requires that you know who you are and what you stand for. That is the first step to real change. From there, you can really see what is possible.
Cognitive Combat Training
1. Internal citadel
This is the concept of building an internal state of fortitude that the outside world can not touch. The citadel was the most fortified part of the Castile. We want to build this within our own minds.
2. The forage
Every single day I wake up, I have an opportunity to get better. Everything is training, and life is my forage. A warrior must keep is weapons clean, in this case it is your mind.
3. Faith over fear
Where you don’t have certainty, have faith. It’s important to live with honor, don’t give into fear. Fear is a tool, but you must use it wisely. You must know your tendencies and predispositions to fear in order to navigate it in a skillful manner.
Strategic Thinking
1. Embrace change
You must be open to new ideas and learning new methods. Upgrade your strategy as you go and always keep learning. Strategy is a skill and can be developed over time.
2. Openness
You must be wiling to be open to learning and growing at all times. You must be willing to sacrifice who you are for what you could become. Be open to new ways of being in order to achieve victory.
3. Embrace the process
You must be willing to embrace the process of growth. It won’t always be easy, but it’s possible. Remember that all change starts from within.
Solution Orientation
1. Be the change
You must be the change you wish to see in the world. You must believe in yourself and stay the course. Being the change is about realizing that life is created from the inside out rather from the outside in.
2. Calm under pressure
Being calm under pressure allows you to make good decisions in the face of chaos. This is important because to be a good decision maker, it’s important to stay calm.
3. Believe in yourself
No matter what, you have to believe in yourself. Believe in yourself and the mission. You matter and the world needs you. Always strive for greatness while accepting where you are.
