Five Health Practices To Fortify Your Health Today

Importance Of Having A Routine-

Having a routine is very important. When you have certain practices and routines in place, health becomes automatic. When we just wing it, it’s easy to become unhealthy because there are a lot of distractions. In time, it will be like breathing, and you will expect to be healthy.

1. Spend time in nature

This is perhaps the most important thing that you can do for your health. As humans, we would spend 24/7 in nature, and now we barely spend anytime at all. This is very detrimental to our health. Nature provides free electrons from the earth, negative ions from the air, and actual sunlight. All things that our genes expect you to get.

2. Nutrition

Nutrition is a very important pillar of health. As always, it comes down to foundational principles. Eat real food, organic, local, seasonal, and according to genetics and ancestry. If you just eat organic real food, your 80% of the way there. Real food is classified as meat, vegetables, nuts, seeds, grains, legumes, and fruit. Just because it’s a real food, doesn’t mean it’s right for you, so customize your diet accordingly.

3. Fitness and movement

There is a difference between fitness and movement, but both are necessary. Movement is classified as what you do throughout the day, such as walking, cooking, gardening, or anything requiring movement. Exercise would be a formal session, such as weight lifting in the gym. If all you do is workout, but are sedentary the rest of the day, that’s not very beneficial.

4. Purpose

It’s so important to have a sense of purpose. Purpose is what wakes you up everyday with enthusiasm and direction. It gives you a foundation on how to build your life. The thing about purpose, is that it’s not always great, it will give you a lot of challenges as well. I believe the foundation of everyones purpose is growth and service, but how everyone expresses that is going to be different. Your purpose can also change overtime, but not the foundation. I used to believe that it had to be tied in with your career, but not necessarily. Perhaps now, it’s to be the best parent you can be, and maybe in a few years it will be something else.

5. Relationships

Relationships are the glue that hold our life together. All relationships begin with you and what you perceive your worth. Being in a good social group that you can add value in is key. Look to add value, and help people reach their goals. Let people know that they matter. Focus on the truth. Understand that we all matter. This is the most important principle for all relationships. It all starts with your perceived value and what you believe your worth. All relationships begin with who you perceive yourself to be. Make sure that your doing your work on your end of the relationship. These principles are going to apply to all relationships.
