What Is Situational Awareness?
Situational awareness is the ability to perceive things around you. It’s the ability to know things around you and take necessary action. This is something that can be used in various of life. Situational awareness is a skill that can be developed just like anything else.
The Power Of Choice
1. Decisions
The decisions are always in our power. We always have an ability to respond and an ability to choose. We may not always be able to control what happens, but we get to decide what happens next.
2. Freedom
You must believe in yourself and the mission no matter what. You always have what it takes, don’t change the goal, change the approach. Believe in yourself and stay the course.
3. Have a dream
You must have a dream that is greater than your current reality. You must see beyond your current circumstances, and see the truth. Understand that your life is possible, you just have to keep going.
Decisions
1. Know what you want
You must know what you value and what you want so you can filter your decisions through your values. This will help narrow things down and seem seamless. Doing this will serve a lifetime.
2. Stand firm
When you stand firm, you stand by your decisions and see them through. No, you won’t always make the right decisions, but you can seed the impact. From there, you can self access and improve.
3. Gratitude
Gratitude will help you win. What you appreciate appreciates, and what you focus on tends to expand. Be the change you wish to see in the world as well. If you want change, you have to change.
Gathering Information
1. Know your surroundings
This comes through awareness and not being distracted by things. Focus on what matters and your goals. Recognize patterns and how things could be. From there put a plan in place to reach the objective.
2. Know yourself
You must know who you are, including your values, standards and goals. When you know who you are, it”s much easier to make decisions. Too many of us are scatter brained, and we wonder why were not where we want to be.
3. Become a sheep dog
This is about learning how to protect. This is done physically, mentally, and emotionally. This will allow you to be of maximum service. Train your mind and body everyday to make things happen.
