What Is Somatic Therapy?
Somatic therapy is essentially healing through feeling the body. It involves all the senses. This ensures that you incorporate everything into healing. When your able to slow down and relax, healing is able to take place. Stillness is the key, and it happens right now.
Inner Knowing
1. Be the change you wish to see in the world
Knowing is not enough, we must do. Doing is not enough, we must be. Look to be the change you wish to see in the world. Things don’t have to be perfect, but make progress every day toward a worthy ideal. You matter, and never forget that.
2. Your inner world creates your outer world
Life is a mirror. As within so without, as above so below. Know your worth, and work toward it everyday. Stay focused on the mission and never give up. Your people need you. Be willing to reflect on your wins and your loses, and become the greatest version of yourself.
3. Stoic adversity
The more adversity you go through, the better. Focusing on creating a better future involves creating a better you. Understand that your enough, but always strive for more. That is the paradox of success.
Body Intelligence
1. Listen to your body
It’s very important to listen to your body. When you listen to your body, you gain intelligence and wisdom. We don’t just learn through our minds, but also our bodies. Being able to stay calm and listen is key. This is a skill that can be developed like anything else.
2. Develop a relationship with yourself
Developing a relationship with yourself is perhaps the most important thing. This is because your the source of your life. Everything stems from you. Working on yourself is the key. Working on your mindset and character really matters. How you talk to yourself will determine your actions.
3. Develop a relationship with reality
How you respond to reality is key. How you respond to things will determine the trajectory of your life. Learn from your responses, and improve upon them. The ability to self access is very important. Learning what went right and what didn’t.
Freedom
1. Spartan law
Freedom is about no retreat, no surrender. Having a goal in your heart you know is yours, you must go for it. This life is your for the taking. You must know your worth and know that you matter. Freedom is about becoming the greatest version of you in all aspects of reality. Standing for principles and virtue.
2. Know your cause
You must live by principles, and walk by faith, not by sight. This will ensure a great life. Knowing what you stand for is key. Without a vision, people perish. Stay free in the face of adversity. Everything is birthed from freedom. Nothing can take it from you because it was never given, it is inherent in all things.
3. Stand for something
If you don’t stand for something, you can fall for anything. Know your worth and live as a sheepdog. Always protect the innocent and people of the world. Justice is about brining the truth to the surface. Be willing to get out of your own way, and sacrifice who you are for what you could come. Opportunities are always present, the question is will you be receptive to them or not?
